3rd Annual Hacker Valley Chili Cook-Off

$10The Northern Webster County Improvement Council hosting the 3rd Annual Hacker Valley Chili Challenge on Saturday, March 8 in the Anderson Activities Building at Holly River State Park.
There is a $10 entry fee
- 10 a.m: for contestants (bring their preheated chili to the park)
- Noon: open to the public ($5 to sample all entries or for a bowl of any chili, plus cornbread) to eat in or take out.
Hot and cold drinks and bake sale items including extra cornbread will also be sold. Cake Walks and live acoustic music by singer Makenna Hope will add to the ambiance. Contestant rules are listed on the entry form included in this article. Chili cooks are urged to register in advance; however submissions will be accepted on the day of the event and payment is not due until arrival.
