Calling all photographers!

Holly River State Park is doing their Annual Photo Contest through August 20, 2024

• Photos may be submitted in any of the following six categories: Animals, Plants,
  Fungi, Scenery, People, or Mystery.
• There are two age divisions: 18 Years and Over, Under 18 Years.
  Photos must be taken on Holly River State Park property.
• Limit two (2) photos per category per contestant.
• Photos must be standard size (4″ × 6″) vertical or horizontal, and labeled with
  photographer’s name, address, phone number, age, and category on back.
• Anyone may enter the contest; however, photos must be the work of the person
  whose name is listed on the back and must not have been entered in this
  contest previously.
• Photos must not be digitally altered or “photo-shopped.”
• Photos may be dropped off at the Park Office or mailed to: Photo Contest c/o
  HRSPF, PO Box 2, Hacker Valley, WV 26222, on or before Aug. 20,2024.
  Print copies only; sorry, no email submissions.
• Ribbons will be awarded to First, Second, Third, and Honorable Mention
  winners in each category in each age division.
• There will be one (1) overall Grand Prize and one (1) overall Grand Prize
  Runner-up in each age division. Grand Prize winners receive $50 check and
  ribbon; Runners-up receive $25 check and ribbon.

All winning photos will be on display as part of the Holly River Festival on
Labor Day Weekend; following the Festival, they will be displayed in glass
cases on the Main Building porch, near entrance to the restaurant.

All photos become the property of the Holly River State Park Foundation
and may be used in future publicity or displayed in scrapbooks in the Windy
Gap School Museum; photo credit will be given when possible.
