Jerry Run Summer Theater Presents: Variety Benefit Concert for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
April 14 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This is the second year that JRST has hosted the benefit concert for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Kristi Swecker has organized this show, which consists of a variety of musical genres and artists, to help raise money to find a cure for this disease she battles daily.
This year’s show will feature artists Key to Adam, Marteka and William, Whiskey Victor, and Emmalea Deal .
Key to Adam is an up and coming instrumental duo combining artists from completely different backgrounds. With Adam’s fingerpicking guitar style and Kiara on the fiddle/violin, the duo appeals to a wide range of audiences by playing songs from a variety of genres including old-time traditional, Cajun, alternative rock, and Indie folk. Marteka and William need no introduction. This local and incredibly talented brother-sister duo are influenced by the music of Flatt & Scruggs, and they are rapidly making a name for themselves in the bluegrass world. Whiskey Victor is an indie folk duo featuring handcrafted harmonies and unique instrumentation. These sisters from Morgantown, WV create a stripped-down baroque pop sound equally fitting for the most tranquil days and the stormiest nights.
Also available will be a concession stand, bake sale, homemade pie auction, and quilt raffle. Come out and support these local artists while we also raise money to find a CURE for CF! All proceeds from the benefit will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Let’s #CureCF together!
