Williams River Backway

Meandering through the scenic Williams River valley, this route along National Forest roads 86 and 216 offers continuous views of densely forested hills and plunging water coursing through a rocky, boulder-strewn riverbed. The Williams River is one of the most popular trout fishing streams in West Virginia and this route offers access to many miles of hiking trails through the Cranberry Wilderness and Tea Creek Backcountry. Total length is 28 miles.
