Physical Education Conference – 50th anniversary
Organized by the West Virginia Association of Elementary Physical Education. This conference is planned by teachers for teachers. Unlike other conferences where you sit and take notes while listening to a lecture, this conference is 100% participation. Sessions will be offered in the areas of Fitness, Games, Health and Wellness, Movement, and Technology. There will also be the opportunity to become certified in CPR.

Camp Caesar Ramp Dinner
At the dining hall at Camp Caesar, off WV-20 north of Cowen, at Upper Glade, the 11 a.m. -to- 3 p.m. dinner will include ramps, ham, eggs, bacon, cornbread, brown beans, fried potatoes, and dessert. Take-out orders are available. The cost is $15 for one person, $25 for two, $10 for children, 5 and under are free with paying adult. Table service is provided. Webster County Fair
The Annual Webster County Fair will be September 4-7, 2024 at Camp Caesar! Admission is only $10 per day for access to all entertainment. 4-H exhibits will be on display and featuring livestock, vegetables, flowers, canned goods, antiques, art, crafts, and photography. A hot dog eating contest, butterfly release, MedVac demonstration, and fireworks are among the many exciting offerings at this years fair as well as the 2nd Annual Demolition Derby on Saturday evening!
