While Christmas has its cookies, and Easter is great for chocolate, even the summer months are great for popsicles, autumn is the season of cinnamon and pumpkin inspired deliciousness. Our palates have been eagerly awaiting the seasonal flavor that has been all too missed. This hometown establishment has been cooking up the most delectable treats for over two years now, and with the list of pumpkin goodness that they have unveiled for the fall season, we’re inclined to believe they are in no hurry to slow their success. Take it from us, these sweets are exactly as good as they look and then some. But don’t delay, they won’t last long!

The Sugar Shack

The Sugar Shack holds true to its name; when asked what they’re specialties are the answer is simply – All Things Sugar. The Shack recently has begun baking fresh cake donuts with whipped black raspberry fillings. And if that doesn’t make your mouth water as is, they also have plans of having chocolate and sugar glaze options too! If these handmade donuts don’t excite you, you may want to get your pulse checked. In addition, the Sugar Shack has added a spectacular Pumpkin Spice Milkshake to the lineup for fall. Donuts in the morning, milkshake for lunch – match made in heaven!

If anyone knows a thing or two about flavor it’s our friends at the Custard Stand. With enough flavor to keep you busy trying a new combination for months at a time, it’s no surprise that Pumpkin Spice makes it onto their shortlist. Wanna add a little extra pizzazz to the regular cone? Try a Pumpkin Spice Arctic Swirl – loaded with your favorite candy bits and pieces. Milkshakes are also an option to try, even consider making a float (Rootbeer and Pumpkin Ice Cream… just saying).
